La colección museográfica consigue cubrir al menos en parte algunas facetas del patrimonio cultural propio de la comarca Els Ports, conocida sobre todo por su riqueza fosilífera y etnológica. La colección exhibe al público desde 1998 materiales etnológicos y paleontológicos propios de la zona, así como algunas piezas íberas y romanas.
